Biographical Sketch


Zhan is a professor in the state key laboratory of advanced optical communication systems and networks, in Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). He is also a faculty of the department of Physics


Now, his interests are focused on the studies of slow/fast light in optcial fibers, single-frequency and femtosencond fiber lasers, signal processing technologies, and nanosctructured metal and its application on DNA detection. His is the author or co-author of 100 journal papers including Phys. Rev. Lett., Opt. Lett., Opt. Express, IEEE Photon. Tech. Lett., etc.
