Biographical Sketch

Professor Wang received his Ph.D. in Physics in 1999 from Jilin University. He worked as an associate professor at the Institute for Molecular Science of Japan from 2001 to 2003. He joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University as a professor in 2003.

The research topics in his group are the photo-induced anisotropy, polarization holography, and nonlinear optical property in organic polymers. His current research project is the polarization conversions and diffractive wave-plates based on polarization holographic gratings. He has published more than 80 research papers.
